Wonderful paintings and wonderful writing! I’m struck by the repetition of Monet going back again and again to the same scene— 90 paintings! And then likewise with other locations or subjects. So interesting to see and paint that way.
Hmmm, with all that talk of painters I am surprised there was no mention of the painting of Étretat by yours truly 😂🤣
