I needed a break after 3 months! Enjoy your time and as others have said, we're not going anywhere. Oh, and I really want to know where that first photo was taken!

Hi Jodie, it must be the time of the year to take a break. I have decided after my last post next week that I will also be taking a break, but an extended one as I have been finding that Substack somehow is taking over my life. I have enjoyed the friendships made, but I feel I need to get back to living a freer life and return to my art room which has been severely neglected over the past months. You know I always enjoy reading your articles, so enjoy your change and no doubt I will sneak a look from time to time. Hugs 🤗💐

Thanks for opening up the archive, in particular for the piece on the Fortuny museum. I made it to the shop when I was in Venice last year (my first time), but not to the museum. It's definitely at the top of the list for the next time I go!

It is perfect! I’ve hardly ever been to Brittany and am looking forward to getting up there someday. It’s very far away, though.
